Blackberry Torch 9810

The new BlackBerry Torch 9810 improves upon its predecessor. The BlackBerry Torch 9810 smartphone also features a 1.2 GHz processer, a 5 MP camera with HD video recording, face detection and image stabilization, a digital compass and HSPA+ network support. Combined with the BlackBerry 7 OS, these new hardware features ensure that the BlackBerry 9810 smartphone is faster and more fluid than its predecessor.

Overview
Research In Motion (RIM) Limited has developed a new Smartphone with hybrid touch and QWERTY slider. BlackBerry Torch 9810 is phone having faster CPU (1.2 GHz processor), more pixels and proximity sensors for auto turn-off. One can get great browsing and application experience along with this all-in-one modern-day Smartphone. With 8 GB of memory and with a mocroSD card, one can take more pictures, capture more videos and download plethora of apps on the phone.

Design and Display
The casing and the general design of Torch 9810 is similar to that of its predecessor Torch 9800. The 3.2 inch touchscreen running at 480x640 pixels display slides upward to give the phone a traditional look of RIM keyboard. It is 0.57 inches thick and can be easily fits into the pocket. The 5.68 ounce phone has spray-paint-like silver back cover, which gives a tacky look. It has a 3.5 mm headphone port, volume rocker and camera button on the right side while on the left side, it has micro USB jack, top edge lock and mute keys. Bottom of the screen is the optical track pad, which include call, menu, back and power buttons. It is available in gray and black colors.

Camera and Video
It has 5-meagpixel camera with geo-tagging, face detection, LED flash and autofocus functions to capture crisp and clear spontaneous moments and to reduce the blurs while capturing images and videos even in low light situations. The phone has the ability to capture 720p videos. You can also take videos while walking on the streets or in the back of a car with its good image stabilization feature. To record wider footage, one needs to turn the phone horizontally.

Power Packed with Liquid Graphics
It gives speedy processing with 1.2 GHz processor. One can experience high-quality browsing, socializing and gaming at blistering fast speed with this processor. It provides convenient connectivity with HDPA+ high speeds and Wi-Fi to connect the way you want to. Storage capacity and Connectivity
The internal space (memory) consists of 8GB, on the other side, in order to store more data or content, the external memory is expandable up to 32 GB along with a microSD memory card. It supports 2G network with GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz and 3G networks with HSDPA 850, 900 and 2100 MHzs. To get the fast mobile internet facility, the phone has GPRS, EDGE and WLAN connectivity with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

Battery Durability
It has Li-Ion battery, which in stand-by mode runs for 308 hours (2G) and 300 hours (3G) and in talk time mode runs for 6 hrs 30 mins (with 2G network) and 5 hrs and 50 mins (with 3G network), which is quite good and is useful especially for those who talk long hours on phone.
